The PMVFUPS02 by Lovato Electric is the backup power supply that keeps the interface protection of a PV plant in service even when the mains voltage is missing.
The grid code requires the protection relay and the trip coil to stay powered for the time needed to complete the separation from the grid: this DIN-rail module, supplied at 230 V AC and installed in the interface assembly, provides the reserve energy for that function.
