The LONGi LR8-66HGD-615M is a 615 W bifacial dual glass solar module from the Hi-MO 7 series, built with 132 N-type HPDC half-cells in a 2382 × 1134 mm format. The 2.0 + 2.0 mm heat-strengthened glass-glass laminate and a bifaciality of 80 % ± 5 % place it firmly in the high-yield segment for large-scale systems: the rear face converts light reflected off the mounting surface, adding energy without taking up any extra area.
With 22.8 % efficiency and a short circuit current of 16.00 A, the module is designed for commercial, industrial and utility scale projects, on ballasted flat roofs or on ground-mounted structures and trackers. N-type cells do not suffer from light-induced degradation and show a power temperature coefficient of -0.28 %/°C, with a good response in low irradiance conditions too, typical of the first and last hours of the day or of overcast weather. The backsheet-free structure offers high resistance to moisture, salt mist and ammonia, with permitted loads of 5400 Pa on the front and 2400 Pa on the rear and a 30-year linear performance warranty.
