Fully encapsulated: water resistant, shock resistant and flame retardant

Water, oil or dirt will not harm the Blue Smart IP67 Charger. The case is made from cast aluminum while all the electronics are molded from resin.

Highest efficiency ever

A new industry standard: At 92% or more efficiency, these chargers waste three to four times less heat. And when the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to less than one Watt, which is five to ten times lower than the industry standard.

5-phase adaptive charging algorithm: first phase of charge - absorption - reconditioning - maintenance - accumulation

The Blue Smart charger includes an "adaptive" charge management system controlled by a microprocessor. The "adaptive" function automatically optimizes the charging process based on the type of use made of the battery.

Conservation mode: less maintenance and less aging when the battery is not used

Conservation mode is activated when the battery is not subject to discharge for 24 consecutive hours. In storage mode the flow voltage is reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimize corrosion of the positive plates. The voltage is brought back to the “absorption” level once a week to balance the battery charge state. This feature prevents electrolyte stratification and sulphation, the main causes of premature aging of batteries.

Also charges Li-ion (LiFePO₄) batteries

LiFePO₄ batteries are charged with a simple constant current – absorption – float algorithm.

Thermal protection

It can be used in an overheated environment such as an engine room. The output current drops if the temperature exceeds 60°C, but the charger continues to work.

• Yellow LED: full charge (fast flashing), absorption (slow flashing), float (solid), storage (off)
• Green LED: running
