Key functions

PowerAssist

The MultiPlus will prevent overload when AC sources are limited, such as a generator or a shore power connection. First, battery charging is automatically reduced when it would otherwise cause an overload. The next level boosts the generator's or shore power's output with energy drawn from the battery.

Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)

If the utility grid fails, or the generator or shore power supply is disconnected, the inverter built into the Multiplus switches on automatically and powers the connected loads. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment keep running without interruption.

Parallel operation

Up to 6 Multiplus units can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three-phase or split-phase configurations are also possible. Check our datasheet below to see which models support parallel, three-phase, and split-phase operation.

Optional accessories

• VE.Bus Bluetooth Smart Dongle (link): this accessory lets you monitor and manage the operation of Multiplus series inverters too, via Bluetooth, using the Victron Connect app (in Italian).

• MK3 VE.Bus to USB Interface (link): The Victron MK3-USB is an interface that lets you connect VE.Bus-equipped Victron devices to a computer for configuration and firmware updates. Required to set up the Multiplus/Quattro for lithium batteries. Perfect for keeping your system always up to date and running at its full potential.
