Status Signalling Box for SVG/ASVG Compensators with 10 m Signal Cable
Box for the remote signalling of the operating status of active reactive power compensators of the SVG and ASVG series. The compensator is normally installed inside the electrical panel or in a technical room that is often unattended: this accessory brings its diagnostics to a visible spot that is easy to check, such as the wall next to the panel, the porter's lodge or the site surveillance room. A single glance is enough to know whether the compensator is ready, whether it is working or whether it has reported a fault, without having to open the panel or connect to the device's own panel.
The box is of the wall-mounted type and is connected to the compensator by the 10 m signal cable included, which brings the compensator's status contacts inside the box. It is the typical accessory for installations where reactive power compensation is critical in order to avoid penalties on the electricity bill: industrial warehouses, logistics centres, hospitality facilities and commercial photovoltaic systems where the SVG/ASVG compensator works continuously and an undetected fault quickly turns into a cost.
