Solar Cable 6 mm² Black H1Z2Z2-K 500 m Reel
Single-core solar cable H1Z2Z2-K 6 mm² in black, supplied on a 500 m reel. The 6 mm² cross-section is the de facto standard for wiring the DC side of a photovoltaic system, and the 500 m format is the one installers choose to cover entire sites: connections between the modules, string extension leads and runs from the photovoltaic array to the inverter or to the combiner box, with no intermediate joints.
The conductor is tinned copper, class 5 flexible stranded according to EN 60228, with insulation and sheath in halogen-free cross-linked compound. The double layer construction ensures resistance to UV rays, ozone and weathering and allows outdoor installation, on the roof or on the ground, in trunking or fixed to the mounting structures. Compliant with EN 50618 and IEC 62930, with a maximum operating voltage of 1.5 kV DC and a declared service life of 25 years. The black colour conventionally identifies the negative pole.
