Solis S2-WL-ST 2-in-1 Data Logger Wi-Fi and LAN 4-Pin Connector IP65

The S2-WL-ST is the data logger that puts a Solis inverter online while leaving two routes open: Wi-Fi or wired LAN. That is the difference that counts in plant rooms where Wi-Fi does not reach, in a cellar or a screened garage: instead of chasing repeaters you pull a network cable and the matter is closed. Hence 2-in-1, and hence the safer choice when you do not yet know what the site will look like.

It plugs into the 4-pin COM port fitted to every Solis inverter with that connector and uploads straight to SolisCloud: yield, self-consumption, real-time alarms. Commissioning is plug and play, and the status LEDs immediately say whether power is missing, the network is down or the inverter is not answering: three separate diagnoses, read at a glance, with nothing to open.

One logger covers up to 10 inverters daisy-chained on the RS485 bus, so a site with several machines does not need one device each. The reset button forces an immediate upload, handy during commissioning to confirm the chain is answering. The housing is IP65 and takes outdoor mounting under the inverter.
