Solis S2-WL-ST-USB 2-in-1 Data Logger Wi-Fi and LAN USB Connector IP65

This is the USB connector version of the Solis 2-in-1 data logger: the same electronics as the 4-pin version, with the plug that Solis inverters whose COM port is USB actually need. Check the port on the inverter before ordering, because the two versions are not interchangeable: this one works only on machines with a USB COM port.

The 2-in-1 refers to the two ways onto the network: Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz or wired LAN. Where the wireless signal does not reach — loft spaces, cellars, plant rooms with concrete walls — LAN settles it without repeaters and without gaps in the data. Everything goes to SolisCloud: yield, self-consumption, real-time alarms, from the app or a browser.

Fitting is plug and play and the status LEDs separate the three faults that matter: no power, no network, inverter not answering. One logger reads up to 10 inverters daisy-chained on the RS485 bus, and the IP65 housing means it can stay plugged into a machine installed outdoors.
