What it does
- Each member of staff gets an NFC card with their name on it: hold it to the lock and the door opens.
- The log in the app shows who came in and at what time, for every card, code or fingerprint.
- A lost card, or one belonging to someone who no longer works with you, is cancelled from the app in seconds, with no cylinder change.
- For cleaners or suppliers you can also use temporary codes valid on set days and at set times.
- The M100 hub connects the lock to the internet: you can let in whoever gets there before you, from wherever you are.
- With Matter the lock also appears in Apple Home, Alexa and Google Home.

How it is installed
Hub and network. Plug the M100 hub into one of the kit's USB power supplies and into a permanently live socket near the front door, with good Wi-Fi coverage. Add it to the Aqara Home app first, using the account of whoever will manage access. It is the hub that puts the lock online for remote opening and for the log.
U200 lock. Measure the door thickness and how far the cylinder protrudes and compare both with the manufacturer's figures: on office doors with a panic bar or an unusual mortice lock, check them carefully. Take the cylinder out, fit the parts of the lock as the instructions say and check that the mechanical key turns freely.
Cards and power supply. The five NFC cards are paired with the lock from the app, one per person. The M100 hub comes without a power supply: that is why the kit includes three 5V 2A USB power supplies, one for the hub and two spare. The lock runs on batteries, as the manufacturer specifies.
App and pairing. In the Aqara Home app add the U200 to the M100 hub. Pair the five cards one at a time, naming each after the member of staff, and write the same name on a label on the card. Register codes or fingerprints for whoever prefers them. Test every card before handing it over and keep a mechanical key somewhere safe.
Recommended automations. Set up temporary codes for the cleaners, valid only on the days and at the times agreed. Set auto-locking after a few minutes and a notification if the door is opened outside office hours. Check the log at the end of the week and deactivate the cards of anyone who should no longer be getting in.
Contents verified. The U200 lock pairs with the Aqara M100 hub and the five Aqara NFC cards are the ones intended for the U200. The hub comes without a power supply: the kit includes three 5V 2A USB power supplies, one for the hub and two spare.

Before you order
Do you need a hub?
For remote opening, notifications and seeing the log while you are out, yes: the M100 hub included links the lock to the internet. At the door the U200 still works with a card, a code, a fingerprint and the mechanical key, even without the hub.
Can I disable a lost card?
Yes, in the Aqara Home app you delete the lost card, or the one belonging to someone who no longer works with you, and from that moment it no longer opens the door. There is no cylinder to change and no keys to cut. You can pair a new card at any time.
Can I add more cards?
Yes, more Aqara NFC cards for the U200 are bought separately and paired in the app, up to the maximum number of credentials the manufacturer states. For an office with a lot of people get in touch: we will check whether the lock is the right answer.
Does it work with Alexa, Google and Apple?
Yes, through Matter the U200 can be added to Apple Home, Alexa and Google Home, with the functions each platform supports. Cards, codes and the access log are managed in the Aqara Home app.
Will the lock work on my door?
The kit's Aqara locks fit doors with a euro cylinder, within the thickness and protrusion the manufacturer gives. Before buying, measure the door and check the type of cylinder; if in doubt send us a photo through the contact page and we will check compatibility.
Do you need an electrician?
No. The lock runs on batteries and goes onto the door with ordinary tools, with no electrical work; the hub plugs into an ordinary socket. The level is advanced DIY because the cylinder has to be taken out and refitted carefully, following the manufacturer's instructions.
What happens if there is no internet?
The lock still opens at the door with a card, a code, a fingerprint and the mechanical key. Without internet, though, you cannot unlock remotely and you get no notifications; entries are still logged, according to the manufacturer's features.
What if a product is out of stock on Amazon?
