Pylontech US3000C 3.55kWh Home Backup Kit with Victron MultiPlus-II 48/5000 Single-Phase is a 5kVA single-phase 48V storage and backup system built around a Victron MultiPlus-II inverter/charger and a 3.55kWh Pylontech US3000C LiFePO4 module. It keeps essential loads running through a power cut, stores the output of an existing solar array and grows by adding further modules of the same series.
The kit ships with the inverter, the battery and the communication link between the battery and the Victron system: the Pylontech BMS talks to the Victron electronics, which then manages charge voltages and currents on its own. The power cables between inverter and battery are not included: they are cut to length for the distance between the two, and we tell you the right cross-section and length. This is not a box to open and wire at random — the components are matched to work together and we hand them over already defined.
Two versions, selectable above. Built-in GX uses the GX variant of the MultiPlus-II: the monitoring device sits inside the inverter, so the system is visible and controllable through VRM and your phone with no extra hardware. Cerbo GX and GX Touch 50 adds the separate communication centre and the 5-inch wall-mounted touch display — the right choice when the system will grow with solar chargers, energy meters or sensors, or when you want the dashboard in plain sight.
