A complete off-grid solar kit with professional-grade Victron Energy and Pylontech components. The 8.19 kWp solar array is managed by two independent SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers and feeds a 48V system with 19.2 kWh of LiFePO4 storage.
The heart of the system is the Victron MultiPlus-II 48/10000/140-100, a 10,000VA, 8kW continuous inverter/charger, with high surge capacity and a 140A charger. A solution designed for off-grid systems that need high autonomy, available power, and smart energy management.

⛽ Smart generator management: the MultiPlus-II can use a generator as an AC source to power the loads and recharge the batteries. Paired with the Cerbo GX, start and stop can be automated based on battery state and system needs, avoiding needlessly keeping the generator running and reducing fuel consumption.

High Power and Strong Surge Capacity
The MultiPlus-II 48/10000 delivers 8kW continuous at 25°C and can reach a peak power of 18kW, particularly useful with loads that require high startup currents, such as pumps, motors, compressors, and other professional equipment.
The built-in 140A charger also lets you use an external AC source or a generator for powerful storage charging when solar production isn't enough.
Professional DC Distribution with Victron Lynx
The kit uses a Victron Lynx Distributor M10 as the hub for distributing high DC currents between the battery bank, inverter, and charge controllers.
The Lynx integrates the positive and negative connections into a single system and has four fuse-protected circuits, offering a tidier, more professional, more expandable solution than using simple separate busbars.
A Complete, Intelligent, Connected Victron System
Combining the MultiPlus-II, dual SmartSolar MPPT, and Cerbo GX makes it possible to build an advanced off-grid system in which solar production, batteries, inverter, consumption, and energy sources can all be controlled and monitored centrally.
Through the Victron VRM portal you can also monitor the system remotely, checking production, battery status, consumption, historical data, and overall system operation.
🔗 An open, expandable, integrable ecosystem
The Victron ecosystem can communicate directly, or through protocols, gateways, and integrations, with numerous devices and platforms available on the market. These include: Home Assistant, Shelly, Node-RED, MQTT, Modbus TCP, Signal K, Fronius, SMA, SolarEdge, ABB, Carlo Gavazzi, Wakespeed, Arco Zeus, Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, Lowrance, Furuno, NMEA 2000, RV-C, Grafana, InfluxDB, Raspberry Pi, and PLC/SCADA systems.
This openness makes it possible to build custom automations and logic: switching loads on or off based on solar production or battery state, controlling smart devices, managing the generator, collecting data, receiving alarms, and monitoring the entire system remotely.
Protection boxes not included: DC isolators, fuses and surge protection devices (SPD) on the PV string side and the protection on the inverter’s AC output must be selected by the installer according to the maximum voltage of the MPPT charge controllers and the system design.
