What it does
- A magnetic contact on each door transmits opening and closing immediately: from the platform you see which bays are open and for how long, and you receive a notification when a door stays open beyond the set time or opens outside working hours.
- The same device measures temperature and humidity next to the bay: the data shows how much each door affects the climate of the warehouse.
- The people counters on the pedestrian doors count the passages in both directions. It is an indicative footfall figure, with an accuracy of up to 80%: it serves to read the flows and the times, it is not an access control system.
- Four temperature and humidity sensors watch over the areas with sensitive goods, with one reading every 10 minutes and an alarm when the thresholds are exceeded.
- The leak sensors, resting on the floor under the sprinkler control station and in the toilets, report water already at 0.5 mm with a notification and an on-board buzzer.
- The tilt sensors on the uprights measure the deviation from the position recorded at installation: an upright that stays bent after being hit by a forklift generates an alarm. They do not replace the periodic inspections of the racking.
- History, charts and notifications can be consulted from smartphone and PC.
For a different number of bays or racking runs, additional sensors, if there is no internet connection in the warehouse and a 4G gateway is needed, for very large buildings or several blocks: tell us the characteristics of your warehouse from the contacts section and we will propose the correct configuration together with the quotation.

How it is installed
Gateway. Compact indoor unit (IP30, operation from -20 to +50 °C): on a desk, on the wall or on the ceiling with the supplied plate, in the office or on an internal wall of the warehouse, as central and as high as possible, away from racking and large metal masses. USB-C 5 V power supply with a common 2 A adapter, connection to the network with an Ethernet cable or the company Wi-Fi.
Bay doors. Transmitter body with screws, with double-sided tape or with a cable tie on the door jamb; the contact is connected with a 1.5 m cable. One part of the contact goes on the fixed frame, the other on the door, aligned and no more than 20 mm apart with the door closed. The manufacturer states that the magnet must not be fixed in contact with iron parts: on steel sheet doors a non-metal spacer is fitted in between.
Pedestrian entrances. People counter on the wall beside the passage, 1.2-1.3 m from the floor, for openings up to 2.3 m; alternatively on the ceiling between 2 and 3 m, facing downwards, at least 45 cm from the walls (at 3 m it covers an opening of 3.1 m). Out of the swing of the door leaf, away from air heaters, air vents and glazing. Fixed with wall plugs and screws.
Microclimate, leaks and racking. Temperature and humidity sensors with screws, with double-sided tape or a cable tie, at the height of the goods, away from metal parts and heat sources. Leak sensors resting on the floor, level, where the water arrives first. Tilt sensors fixed to the upright with no play at all, with screws or with a plate and cable ties, with one of the three axes parallel to the upright and the air intake never facing upwards; once installed, the reference position is recorded.
Configuration. Via NFC with a smartphone and the manufacturer's free app: names of bays and racking runs, reading intervals, temperature and tilt thresholds. The gateway is configured from a browser. No cables and no paid software are needed.
Documentation included. Written installation guide with positions, distances, orientation of the tilt sensors and switch-on sequence, plus the initial configuration of thresholds and open times based on the information provided when ordering.

Before you order
Is an internet connection needed in the warehouse?
It is needed at the point where the gateway is installed: a network socket or the company Wi-Fi coverage. The sensors do not use Wi-Fi, they talk to the gateway by radio. If there is no line in the warehouse, the version with a 4G gateway is available, which requires a data SIM (not included, any operator, traffic below 1 GB per month). It is selected when ordering.
Does a single gateway cover the whole building?
Inside a building the range depends on walls, floors and metal racking: the gateway goes in a central position and high up. For a medium-sized single-block warehouse the compact gateway is adequate. For large buildings, with tall and closely spaced racking or with several blocks, choose the “large building” variant: a semi-industrial IP65 gateway, with more range, which can be powered via PoE and installed even in an unheated environment. One gateway handles hundreds of devices.
Does it work with my sectional doors and my racking?
The magnetic contact can be applied to sectional, folding, sliding and roller shutter doors: all it needs is a fixed point and a moving one that are less than 20 mm apart with the door closed. The tilt sensors are fixed to any upright, with screws or with cable ties. Doors, ramps, racking and sprinkler system are not included and are not modified.
Do the sensors on the uprights detect the forklift impact?
They detect the consequence of the impact: they measure the tilt of the upright on the three axes, with an accuracy of ±1° and a resolution of 0.01°, and raise the alarm when the deviation from the reference position exceeds the threshold. A knock that leaves no deformation is not reported. They are one more continuous check, they do not replace the periodic inspections required for racking.
I have more than 6 bays or more racking runs
Among the product options you will find the sizes with 12 and 18 bays, with sensors in proportion; the gateway and the platform stay the same. Battery life
Door contacts and temperature and humidity sensors: more than 10 declared years with one reading every 10 minutes and a good radio signal, about half of that with a weak signal. Leak sensors about 5.7 years, tilt sensors and people counters about 4 years. The batteries are lithium and replaceable; the charge level is visible in the app.
Where is the data viewed and are there any fees?
On the manufacturer's app and portal, from smartphone and PC, with charts, thresholds and notifications; no fee for basic use. If there is a warehouse management system or a supervision system, the gateway can also send the data to that system (MQTT or HTTP): the configuration is included.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The sensors keep measuring and transmitting to the gateway; the notifications resume when the line is restored. The people counters keep up to 1,000 records in memory and retransmit them. The leak sensors sound on site in any case with their built-in buzzer.
Is an electrician needed?
No. All the sensors are battery-powered and are fixed with screws, double-sided tape or cable ties. The gateway is powered from a USB-C socket at 5 V and connects to the network with an Ethernet cable or over Wi-Fi.
Do they withstand dust, cold and humidity?
Door contacts, temperature and humidity sensors, leak sensors and tilt sensors are IP67 and work down to -30 °C (the leak sensors down to -10 °C): they are also fine on the bays and in unheated warehouses. People counters and the compact gateway are IP30, indoor units: they go in a position sheltered from water and dust. The infrared people counters perform best between 15 and 30 °C.
