CO2, temperature and humidity in 10 rooms with an in-room display, sound level in the open space, lights switched off in empty rooms on 16 circuits and control of 6 radiators room by room. Battery-powered sensors, LoRaWAN radio transmission, data and commands from the app.
What it does
- In the large rooms a 7-parameter sensor measures CO2, volatile organic compounds, temperature, humidity, pressure, light and presence; in-room display, traffic-light indicator and buzzer when the thresholds are exceeded.
- In the offices a sensor with a display measures CO2 from 400 to 5,000 ppm, temperature and humidity: the people in the room see when it is time to open the window, you see the history of all the rooms.
- In the open space the sound level sensors send the instantaneous, average and peak value in decibels, so you can compare zones and time slots.
- The motion sensors in the corridors and restrooms, together with the two controllers with 8 outputs, switch the lights off when the room stays empty for the time set, or on a schedule at the end of the day. This is switching off an empty room: switching on stays with the wall switches.
- The thermostatic valves on the radiators control each room at its own setpoint, which can be changed remotely; they recognise an open window and have frost protection and command lock.
- History, charts, thresholds and notifications can be consulted from a smartphone and from a PC.

Top-quality Milesight devices with the manufacturer's warranty. Batteries included in the sensors and thermostatic valves; the lighting controllers are powered at 230 V, the gateway via USB-C 5 V.
Available sizes
The size is selected at the top, together with the version and the connectivity. The diagram, the photo and the table above show the «10 rooms, 16 lighting circuits, 6 radiators» size; with the other sizes only the quantities of the devices listed below change, the rest of the kit is identical.
- 5 rooms, 8 lighting circuits, 3 radiators: 2 air quality sensors, 3 CO2 sensors with display, 1 noise sensor, 2 motion sensors, 1 controller with 8 relays, 3 thermostatic valves
- 10 rooms, 16 lighting circuits, 6 radiators: 4 air quality sensors, 6 CO2 sensors with display, 2 noise sensors, 4 motion sensors, 2 controllers with 8 relays, 6 thermostatic valves
- 20 rooms, 32 lighting circuits, 12 radiators: 8 air quality sensors, 12 CO2 sensors with display, 4 noise sensors, 8 motion sensors, 4 controllers with 8 relays, 12 thermostatic valves
In the complete kit the installation material related to these devices (brackets, boxes, clips, cables, enclosures) follows the size chosen. For a different size, write to us from the contacts section.
Available connectivity options
- Customer network (Ethernet/Wi-Fi): 1 compact indoor LoRaWAN gateway
- Built-in 4G: 1 compact LoRaWAN gateway with 4G. SIM not included
- Large building (Ethernet/Wi-Fi/PoE): 1 semi-industrial LoRaWAN gateway
In the complete kit the material for the gateway changes accordingly as well (network cable, pole, PoE injector). The SIM for the 4G versions is not included.

Before you order
Is the office network needed?
It is needed at the point where the gateway is installed: a network socket or Wi-Fi. The sensors do not join your network, they talk to the gateway over radio. If you cannot connect equipment to the company network, the version with a 4G gateway is available, which requires a data SIM (not included, any operator, traffic below 1 GB per month). It is selected at the time of the order.
Does one gateway cover all the offices?
On a floor with lightweight partitions, yes, with the gateway centrally positioned. Range inside a building depends on walls and floor slabs: for several floors, thick walls, historic buildings or several building blocks, choose the «large building» variant, with a longer-range gateway that can also be powered over PoE. One gateway handles hundreds of devices.
Do the lights switch on by themselves when someone walks by?
No, and it would not be a good idea: the command travels over the radio network and arrives with a few seconds of delay. The kit is designed to switch off empty rooms and to switch off at the end of the day. Each output goes in series with the existing switch: with the contact closed the light is controlled as always, and when the room stays empty the system opens the contact and switches it off. For instant switch-on in restrooms, wired presence detectors remain the right choice.
Will the valves fit my radiators?
They screw onto thermostat-ready valve bodies with an M30 × 1.5 connection. For other connections the manufacturer offers adapters, not included: tell us the brand and model of the valve from the contacts section. They cannot be fitted on lockshields and manual valves that are not thermostat-ready. The valves control the individual radiator, they do not control the boiler. Radiators and valve bodies are not included.
Which lights can I control?
230 V circuits up to 10 A on a resistive load; with LED lamps and electronic drivers the limit is 5 A per output, 16 A in total per controller. The outputs are dry contacts: they do not measure consumption. Lamps, switches and distribution boards remain the ones in your office.
I have more rooms, more circuits or more floors
The kit is configured around your offices: sensors, valves and controllers are added, while the gateway and the platform stay the same. Among the product options you will find the sizes for 5 and 20 rooms; for different situations write to us from the contacts section stating the number of rooms, radiators, lighting circuits and floors: we will send you the composition and the quotation for the adapted kit.
Battery life
With one reading every 10 minutes the manufacturer states about 3 years for the 7-parameter sensors (which can also be powered via USB-C), from 3 to 4 and a half years for the CO2 sensors, up to 5 years for the noise sensors, from 2 to 4 years for the motion sensors. The valves use 2 AA cells, with a life of 5 to 8 years. The charge level is visible in the app.
Where is the data consulted and are there any fees?
On the manufacturer's app and portal, from a smartphone and a PC, with charts, thresholds and notifications; no fee for basic use. Where a building management system or an ERP is in place, the gateway can also send the data to that system (MQTT or HTTP): the configuration is included.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The in-room displays keep showing CO2 and temperature and the 7-parameter sensors keep the readings in memory. The thermostatic valves keep controlling at the last setpoint received. The rules that switch the lights off run on the platform and resume when the line comes back; with the outputs in series with the switches, the lights can still be controlled by hand.
Is an electrician required?
Yes, for the two lighting controllers: they work at 230 V and have to be connected in the floor distribution board. Sensors and thermostatic valves do not: the sensors are battery-powered and are fixed with double-sided tape or anchors, and the valves are screwed on by hand onto the radiator without draining the system, provided the valve body is already thermostat-ready.
What is not included
- Lamps, switches, radiators and valve bodies: these are the ones in your offices
- The adapters for valves with a connection other than M30 × 1.5
- The electrical connection of the lighting controllers in the distribution board
- The data SIM, in the version with a 4G gateway, and the USB-C 5 V power adapter for the gateway
- In the "devices only" version: enclosures, cables, spare batteries and small parts
