A 48V Victron energy storage system with the entire DC side included: 20kWh of 51.2V Lithium NG batteries, a Victron inverter/charger of your choice: 10kVA or 8kVA Quattro, or 6.5kVA MultiPlus-II, two independent banks each with its own Lynx Smart BMS NG, Cerbo GX monitoring with touch display and a 48V→12V converter for low-voltage loads.

Every battery is a 48V module and they all run in parallel: no series links, and the Lynx busbars in the kit already have free connections to grow the bank to eight batteries. Everything needed to wire batteries, protection, Lynx busbars, inverter and Orion is in the box, sized according to Victron's manuals.

How it is built

The four batteries are split into two independent banks of two, each with its own Lynx busbar and its own Lynx Smart BMS NG. Every battery has its own Class T fuse on the positive, as the Victron manual requires, and reaches the busbar through cables of identical length, so they all share the load evenly. Both banks meet on the Lynx busbar that feeds the inverter and the 12V converter, each on its own fuse.

BMS, inverter and Cerbo GX talk to each other, so charging and discharging are managed by the Victron electronics: each BMS watches the cells of its own batteries. The Cerbo GX is powered from both banks and stays on even when one of them is switched off for maintenance.

What's in the kit

Cable cross-sections and fuse ratings are the ones Victron's manuals specify for this configuration: we take care of the sizing.

Not included: solar panels and MPPT controllers, AC-side wiring and protection (AC panel, breakers, RCD), battery racks or brackets, installation and commissioning.

Cables are supplied for a compact layout, with batteries, busbars and inverter close together. If your plant room needs longer runs, tell us before ordering and we will adapt the material.
