Solar Extension Lead 4 mm² Red with MC4 Connectors 3 m
Pre-assembled photovoltaic extension lead of 3 metres, made with 4 mm² solar cable in red and fitted with MC4 type connectors at both ends. It is used to extend the direct current connection between the modules and the string combiner box or the inverter, or to connect array sections that are far apart from each other.
The red colour conventionally identifies the positive pole, so that during wiring the polarity remains readable at a glance. The assembly is already crimped and tested, so no crimping tools are needed on the roof: simply plug the connectors into those of the modules, using the snap-in coupling with mechanical locking. The cable is of the type for photovoltaic systems, with double insulation in cross-linked polyolefin resistant to UV rays, ozone and weather, suitable for outdoor installation for the whole life of the system.
