AC Combiner Box 10 A Three-Phase with Type 2 SPD
Alternating current combiner box for small three-phase photovoltaic systems, to be installed on the AC side between the inverter output and the distribution board. It is the smaller version of the AC combiner box family: the same protection functions, a more compact enclosure, designed for systems with a limited power output.
Inside there is room for a 10 A miniature circuit breaker providing overload and short-circuit protection of the three-phase line and isolation of the inverter, and a Type 2 surge protective device (class II) against transient surges coming from the grid or induced by indirect lightning strikes. On a 400 V three-phase grid, 10 A corresponds roughly to inverters up to about 6.9 kW.
