AC Combiner Box 20 A Single-Phase with Type 2 SPD and 300 mA Type A RCCB
Alternating current combiner box for single-phase photovoltaic systems, to be installed on the AC side between the inverter output and the distribution board. Compared with the basic version it adds residual current protection, required when the inverter connection line must also be protected against earth fault currents.
Inside there are a 20 A miniature circuit breaker against overloads and short circuits, a Type 2 surge protective device (class II) against transient surges and a 300 mA Type A residual current circuit breaker. The 300 mA sensitivity is typical of protection against fire risks caused by earth leakage currents, while Type A guarantees tripping even in the presence of alternating and pulsating unidirectional fault currents, such as those that may occur downstream of electronic equipment like inverters.
