AC Combiner Box 32 A Three-Phase with Type 2 SPD
Alternating current combiner box for medium-power three-phase photovoltaic systems, to be installed on the AC side between the inverter output and the distribution board. It moves the protection devices dedicated to the photovoltaic system out of the consumer unit, with ready-made wiring that cuts installation times and makes the generation line immediately identifiable.
The box integrates a 32 A miniature circuit breaker, which protects the three-phase line against overload and short circuit and allows the inverter to be isolated, and a Type 2 surge protective device (class II) for limiting transient surges caused by indirect lightning strikes and grid switching operations. The 32 A size on a 400 V three-phase grid covers inverters up to roughly 22 kW.
