AC Combiner Box 40 A Three-Phase with Type 2 SPD
Alternating current combiner box for three-phase photovoltaic systems, designed for the highest power ratings in the range. It is installed on the AC side between the inverter output and the distribution board and gathers line protection and surge protection into a single enclosure.
The equipment includes a 40 A miniature circuit breaker for overload and short-circuit protection of the three-phase line, with an inverter isolation function, and a Type 2 surge protective device (class II) that limits transient surges of indirect atmospheric and switching origin. On a 400 V three-phase grid, 40 A corresponds roughly to inverters up to about 27.7 kW.
