AC Combiner Box Three-Phase 10 A with Type 2 SPD and 100 mA Type A RCD
The alternating current combiner box is installed on the AC side of the photovoltaic system, between the three-phase inverter output and the building's main board. It is the version sized for small inverters, with a rated current of 10 A per phase, and it brings together in a single watertight wall-mounted box the protections required for parallel connection to the grid.
Inside it there are a Type 2 surge protective device (SPD) that diverts to earth the surge pulses induced by indirect lightning strikes and by grid switching operations, a 10 A three-phase miniature circuit breaker with curve B for protection against overloads and short circuits, and a 100 mA Type A residual current device, able to detect the pulsating unidirectional fault currents produced by the inverter electronics as well.
