DC Combiner Box 1000 V IP66 with Type 2 SPD for 8 PV Strings and 8 MPPT
Large-format combiner box for the direct current side, prepared for 8 photovoltaic strings on 8 MPPT inputs and for systems with voltages up to 1000 V DC. It is sized for commercial and industrial installations, where several strings must be collected and protected at a single point before reaching the inverter or the group of inverters.
The enclosure has an IP66 protection rating, so it is totally dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets: it can also be installed outdoors, on the roof or on ground-mounted structures, with no need for additional shelter. Inside there is a Type 2 surge protective device providing protection against induced transient surges, which safeguards the modules and the inverter's DC inputs by diverting the voltage peaks to the earthing system.
