DC Combiner Box 1000 V Type 1+2 SPD and 2 Fuse Holders 15 A for 1 String
The DC combiner box is installed on the DC side of the photovoltaic system, between the module string and the inverter input. Compared with the versions fitted with a surge arrester only, this model adds two 15 A fuse holders, one on the positive pole and one on the negative pole of the string: string fuses interrupt the reverse currents that can flow through a faulty string when it is connected in parallel with others, preventing damage to the modules and the risk of ignition.
Surge protection is provided by a combined Type 1+2 surge arrester for photovoltaics, rated for 1000 V DC, able to discharge both lightning current (10/350 µs waveform) and induced impulses (8/20 µs waveform). It is therefore the configuration indicated when the building is equipped with a lightning protection system (LPS). The box serves one string on one MPPT input.
