DC+AC Combiner Box 1000 V with Type 1+2 SPD, 2 Strings on 1 MPPT, 20 A Single-Phase
Combiner box combining the direct current side and the alternating current side for single-phase residential photovoltaic systems. It gathers 2 photovoltaic strings that converge on a single MPPT input of the inverter and simultaneously protects the DC line upstream of the inverter and the AC line downstream, avoiding the installation of two separate boxes.
On the DC side there is a Type 1+2 surge protective device for 1000 V DC, also suitable for buildings equipped with a lightning protection system (LPS), because it discharges both direct lightning current and induced overvoltages. On the AC side there are a Type 1+2 surge arrester and a 20 A single-phase miniature circuit breaker, which isolate and protect the connection line between the inverter and the distribution board. The box is wall-mounted close to the inverter.
