The DC switchgear is what sits between the panels and the inverter and keeps an indirect strike from reaching the electronics. This SH-136 covers one string on one MPPT, with a type 2 surge arrester and overcurrent protection, up to 1000 V DC.
It is designed for both earthed and insulated installations, and outdoor installation is possible. It arrives wired: connect the string in and the inverter out, with no board to assemble part by part. 202 × 201 × 120 mm, 1.5 kg.
