Soluzione Solare Temmeter TM3 PT100 Class A Module Temperature Sensor
The Temmeter TM3 with PT100 probe by Soluzione Solare is the sensor that measures the cell temperature of the PV module, a figure that is essential for calculating the plant's Performance Ratio according to IEC 61724-1 and for distinguishing a drop in yield caused by overheating from an actual fault.
It is applied to the back of the PV module using a stainless steel fixing system with an aluminium bracket and an adjustable contact spring, without adhesives, so as to guarantee thermal adhesion and allow removal without damaging the backsheet. The sensing element is a class A PT100 in AISI 316 steel with a 2 m shielded cable; the output is of the resistive analogue type and is converted into a Modbus digital signal by the data logger or by the Sunmeter converter/irradiance sensor the device is to be paired with.
