Soluzione Solare Temmeter TM3 PT100 Class A Module Temperature Sensor
The Temmeter TM3 with PT100 probe by Soluzione Solare is the sensor that measures the cell temperature of the PV module, a figure that is essential for calculating the plant's Performance Ratio according to IEC 61724-1 and for distinguishing a drop in yield caused by overheating from an actual fault.
It is applied to the back of the PV module with the integrated 0.4 mm adhesive, suitable for bonding to tedlar and flat plastic surfaces: it goes over a non-peripheral cell and within 1.2 m of the Sunmeter it is connected to. The sensing element is a class A PT100 embedded in a white anti-shock plastic housing that is thermally neutral under direct irradiance; the output is analogue resistive and is converted into a digital Modbus signal by the Sunmeter pyranometer or by the data logger it is paired with.
