The Marstek Venus E 3.0 is a 5.12 kWh plug-in AC storage system for homes that already have solar and want to keep the energy they generate without rebuilding the installation. AC coupling needs a single cable: it plugs into the household grid like any appliance and remains 100% compatible with any existing inverter. The third generation cuts volume by 38.5%, uses a die-cast aluminium housing and adds dual RJ45 ports for RS485 and Ethernet.
It suits families and small businesses that want to eliminate grid feed-in, take advantage of dynamic tariffs and keep a backup socket of up to 2.5 kVA available during outages. AI mode schedules charging against real-time energy prices, while the LiFePO4 cells deliver over 6,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge. It works down to -20 °C, is IP65 rated and stays below 30 dB.
