The MultiPlus-II 48/15000/200-100 is Victron's multifunctional inverter/charger with two AC outputs, designed for home storage (ESS), off-grid, marine and vehicle installations. A 15000 VA sine-wave inverter, a 200 A adaptive charger and a 100 A transfer switch, with intelligent management of grid or generator power.
Key strengths
Two independent AC outputs
The second output is live only when grid or generator is present: it separates critical loads from non-priority ones.
PowerControl
Automatically limits the current drawn from the grid or generator so they are never overloaded: loads come first, battery charging uses whatever is left.
PowerAssist
Adds inverter power to the grid or generator to cover consumption peaks. A 16 A socket can then run far more demanding loads.
UPS function
During a blackout the changeover takes under 20 milliseconds: computers, servers and sensitive equipment keep running without noticing.
4-stage adaptive charging
The adaptive algorithm (bulk, absorption, float, storage) and BatterySafe mode extend lead-acid battery life and are fully compatible with LiFePO4 lithium.
Parallel and three-phase
Several units in parallel and three- or split-phase configurations: the system grows over time without replacing what is already installed.
Monitoring and configuration
It is configured and updated with the MK3-USB interface through VictronConnect, or with the VE.Bus Smart dongle over Bluetooth. Connected to a GX device (Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX) it gives full system monitoring locally and remotely on the free VRM portal, with data history, alarms and remote firmware updates.
