The isolated Orion-Tr Smart is an adaptive 3-stage DC-DC charger (bulk, absorption, float) designed for dual-battery systems in vehicles and boats, where the engine battery and the alternator charge the service battery. It has built-in Bluetooth for configuration and monitoring, plus galvanic isolation between input and output.
A DC-DC charger charges the service battery from a DC source while keeping it separated from the starter battery.
