Similar to the MultiPlus, the Quattro is also a combined inverter and charger. It can also accept two AC inputs (e.g. generator and mains) and automatically connect to the active source. This model includes a 10000VA pure sine wave inverter and a 140A charger. Among other features, it features adaptive charging and hybrid PowerAssist technology, as well as multiple system integration features, such as three-phase or auxiliary-phase operation and parallel operation.

Quattro is one of the most modern and technologically advanced combined inverter battery chargers in the Victron Energy line. Its numerous configuration possibilities make it particularly suitable for use in lithium battery systems. The technical characteristics are very similar to the MultiPlus, but the Quattro has two alternating current inputs that it can manage simultaneously. Typically one will be reserved for the shore network, the other for a diesel generator.

Exclusive PowerAssist function

The Quattro will prevent overcharging if you have limited AC sources, such as a generator or shore power connection. For one thing, the battery charge is automatically reduced when it would otherwise cause overcharging. The next level boosts the output of the generator or shoreside power with energy from the battery.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation

Up to 6 Quattros can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three-phase or auxiliary phase configurations are also possible.

Remote monitoring and control

When paired with a GX device you can monitor and control your Quattro and system(s) over a local area network (LAN) or remotely via the Internet, wherever you are, thanks to the free VRM app. It can be accessed via phone, tablet, laptop or PC of various operating systems.

Optional accessories

  • Digital MultiControl GX remote panel : through this panel it is possible to control the main functions of the inverter/charger (on-off of the battery charger and the inverter, adjustment of the maximum current that can be drawn from the column)
  • VE.Bus Bluetooth Smart Dongle : through this accessory it is possible to monitor and manage the operation of the Multiplus series inverters, via Bluetooth, via the Victron Connect app (in Italian).
