Victron Energy Quattro Charger 24V 70A Inverter 3000 VA

Similar to the MultiPlus, the Quattro is also a combined inverter and charger. It can also accept two AC inputs (eg generator and mains) and automatically connect to the active source. This model includes a 3000VA pure sine wave inverter and a 70A battery charger. Among other features, it has adaptive charging and hybrid PowerAssist technology, as well as multiple system integration features, such as three-phase or auxiliary phase operation and parallel operation.

Quattro is one of the most modern and technologically advanced combined inverter battery chargers in the Victron Energy line. Its numerous configuration possibilities make it particularly suitable for use in systems with lithium batteries. The technical characteristics are very similar to the MultiPlus, but the Quattro has two AC inputs that it can handle simultaneously. Typically one will be reserved for the quay network, the other instead for a diesel generator.

Exclusive PowerAssist function

The Quattro will prevent overloading in case of limited AC sources, such as a generator or connection to a shore socket. First, the battery charge automatically reduces when it would otherwise cause an overcharge. The next level boosts the output of the generator or shoreside power with energy from the battery.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation

Up to 6Quattro can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three-phase use configurations or with auxiliary phase are also possible.

Remote monitoring and control

When paired with a GX device you can monitor and control your Quattro and the system, or systems, in a local network (LAN) or remotely via the Internet, wherever you are, thanks to the free VRM app. It can be accessed by phone, tablet, laptop or PC with various operating systems.

Optional accessories

  • Digital MultiControl GX remote panel: through this panel it is possible to control the main functions of the inverter/charger (on-off of the battery charger and inverter, regulation of the maximum current that can be drawn from the column)
  • VE.Bus Bluetooth Smart Dongle: using this accessory, it is also possible to monitor and manage the operation of the Multiplus series inverters, via Bluetooth, using the Victron Connect app (in Italian).
