The FoxESS CQ7-M is the master module of the CQ7 series, the high voltage storage system from Fox ESS. Unlike the CQ7-S slave module, the CQ7-M integrates the control unit and the system BMS (recognisable by its 6 status LEDs compared with the single LED of the slave) and is therefore mandatory in every tower: one CQ7-M can be paired with a maximum of 13 CQ7-S modules connected in series, for a total of 14 modules and up to 98.28 kWh of energy.

Each module offers 7.02 kWh of nominal energy with LiFePO4 cells, a nominal voltage of 115.2 V and a depth of discharge of 90%. The recommended charge and discharge current is 50 A, with a maximum of 80 A and a peak of 110 A for 60 seconds. The system is compatible with the Fox ESS single-phase H1-G2, AC1-G2, KH and KA inverters and the three-phase H3 Smart, H3 Pro and H3 Plus inverters, communicates via CAN and is IP65 certified for outdoor installation as well, with natural convection cooling and built-in fire protection.
