The FoxESS EP5 is a high voltage storage battery with an integrated BMS, based on prismatic LiFePO4 cells. Each unit offers 5.18 kWh of nominal energy at 192 V (27 Ah), with an operating range of 174-219 V and a depth of discharge of 90%. It is a plug and play solution that does not require external control units: each module comes complete with its own management system.
The EP5 connects to the FoxESS H1, KH, H3, H3-Pro and US series hybrid inverters through CAN communication, and can be installed either on the wall or on the floor. Up to 4 units in parallel make it possible to reach 20.8 kWh. The IP65 protection rating also allows installation in harsh environments, the round trip efficiency is higher than 95% and the declared service life exceeds 4,000 cycles.
