The code 4,240,370 identifies the 3.15 kWh Fronius Reserva storage module, the basic element that makes up the Fronius Reserva high voltage battery. The modules are stacked in series on the system base: from 2 modules (Reserva 6.3, 6.31 kWh) up to 5 modules (Reserva 15.8, 15.79 kWh), with the possibility of connecting up to 4 batteries in parallel to reach a total of about 63 kWh.
The cells are lithium iron phosphate (LFP), a thermally stable and non-flammable chemistry; Fronius states more than 6,000 tested cycles and a 10-year warranty. Each module contributes 102.4 V nominal to the tower voltage and measures 250 x 780 x 176 mm. The battery works with the Fronius GEN24 Plus (Primo and Symo) and Verto Plus hybrid inverters via Modbus RS485, is IP65 certified and operates between -20 and +55 °C, therefore also in sheltered outdoor areas.
