The GoodWe GW5.1-BAT-D-G20 is the high voltage battery module of the ESA series, GoodWe's residential all-in-one storage solution that integrates the power module (hybrid inverter) and the battery modules in a single column. Each module provides 5.12 kWh of nominal energy (5 kWh usable) with LiFePO4 cells and an integrated BMS, and the modules can be stacked up to 12 units per column, with the ESA system scalable overall from 5 to 108 kWh.

The module delivers up to 5 kW continuous with a peak of 7.5 kW for 10 seconds, with a maximum current of 12 A on the input side and 13.2 A on the output side and a nominal voltage of 380 V in discharge and 420 V in charge; the operating range is 350-550 V in single-phase systems and 700-950 V in three-phase ones. Communication is via CAN, the IP66 protection rating allows outdoor installation and the stated cycle life exceeds 8,000 cycles. The module works with the single-phase ESA power modules from GW3KEHA-G20 to GW10KEHA-G20 and is also indicated as a battery for the GoodWe ET 15-30 kW and ET G2 inverters.
