The SMone SM-SVG-50-0.4-4L-W is a static reactive power compensator (SVG) rated 50 kVAr for three-phase 400 V networks with neutral (3L+N+PE). It generates reactive current through IGBT power electronics, continuously compensating both inductive and capacitive loads and rebalancing the phase currents, without steps and without the risk of resonance with the network harmonics.
It is wall-mounted in the switchgear room, in parallel with the line, with the current measured through external current transformers. It is suited to workshops, production plants and service-sector buildings with medium power levels, where a low power factor leads to penalties on the electricity bill. The integrated 4.3" touch screen and the RS485 Modbus port allow the target cos φ to be set, as well as diagnostics and remote supervision.
