The Master Pack of the SolaX T-BAT H 5.8(H) V3 series is the starting module of a high voltage storage system for residential PV installations. Unlike the Slave Pack, it houses the BMS (battery management unit), which talks to the hybrid inverter and coordinates all the modules in the tower: for this reason every system must include at least one Master Pack.
The module uses cobalt-free LiFePO4 cells for 5.8 kWh nominal and 5.5 kWh usable at 95 % depth of discharge, with more than 6,000 declared cycles. The (H) version features two-stage built-in heating, which extends operation down to -30 °C. The IP66 protection rating allows floor or wall installation even in unconditioned environments; capacity is expanded by stacking identical Slave Packs, up to 5 modules per tower. It is intended for SolaX high voltage residential hybrid inverters.
Key features
On-Board BMSThis is the module that contains the management unit: it governs cell balancing, protections and communication with the inverter. Without a Master Pack the storage tower cannot work.
Cobalt-Free LiFePO4 CellsLithium iron phosphate chemistry chosen for its thermal stability and service life: more than 6,000 declared cycles at 95 % depth of discharge.
Two-Stage HeatingThe (H) version includes the heating that allows charging and discharging down to -30 °C, useful in cold rooms or outdoor installations.
Modular Tower SystemYou start from the Master Pack and add identical Slave Packs: up to 5 modules per tower and up to 34.6 kWh with several units in parallel.
IP66 ProtectionThe IP66 enclosure allows floor or wall mounting even in damp or dusty environments, up to an altitude of 2,000 m.
CAN and RS485 CommunicationThe CAN 2.0 and RS485 interfaces connect the battery to the SolaX hybrid inverter for coordinated management of charging, discharging and diagnostics.
