Solis FlexHome 5kWh 51.2V Stackable Low Voltage LiFePO4 Battery Module
The Solis FlexHome 5kWh module in its low voltage form is the stackable element of the SolisStorage range for the home. It banks what the solar array produces while the sun is up and gives it back when it is needed, lifting self-consumption and keeping backup loads running if the grid fails.
The module needs the low voltage BMS SOL-SBAT-BMS-LV-ST-OD, ordered separately: a complete system is 1 BMS and 1 battery module, so it starts at 5kWh and climbs in 5kWh steps to 40kWh, with a maximum of 4 units in parallel. That suits an installation that starts small and has to grow without re-doing the wiring.
The cells are lithium iron phosphate and the datasheet states a depth of discharge of 100%, with more than 6000 cycles — roughly ten years of service. On discharge the module sustains 5000W and peaks at 10000W for short bursts, which covers inrush currents. The BMS watches the voltage and temperature of every cell. Installation and commissioning must be carried out by qualified personnel.
