Solis IntelliHome 5.1kWh 51.2V Wall-Mounted Low Voltage LiFePO4 Battery
The Solis IntelliHome 5.1kWh is a low voltage storage battery from the SolisStorage range, built for a domestic solar installation: it collects what the array produces during the day and releases it as the sun goes down. The format allows wall or floor mounting, so it fits a narrow plant room as readily as a garage.
The cells are lithium iron phosphate, rated for more than 6000 cycles and an expected life of about ten years. Real charge and discharge power may be capped by either the inverter or the battery, whichever has the lower figure — check it for the specific pair being installed. Running several batteries together calls for a combiner box or a busbar, to be planned separately.
Two things the installer must know. Early deliveries of this battery do not include the connectors to the inverter: two M8 ring terminals have to be crimped onto the power cable, for S6-EH1P(3-10)K-L-PLUS, S6-EH3P(5-18)K02-NV-YD-L and S6-EH1P(12-18)K03-NV-YD-L alike. On top of that, any inverter built before April 2026 needs a firmware update before commissioning with a SolisStorage battery. Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
