Eastron SDM72D-M V2 Energy Meter Three-Phase 100 A Modbus RS485 MID
The Eastron SDM72D-M V2 is a three-phase direct measurement energy meter up to 100 A, designed for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail inside electrical panels. It takes up 4 modules and measures total active energy with bidirectional counting (energy imported from the grid and energy exported), as well as the voltage, current and power of each phase.
In photovoltaic and storage systems it is used as a grid exchange meter: the RS485 port with Modbus RTU protocol makes it possible to send the measurements to the inverter, to a data logger or to a supervision system, enabling functions such as self-consumption control and export limitation. It also features a pulse output of 1000 imp/kWh and a resettable partial counter. The model is MID certified according to Directive 2014/32/EU, so it can also be used for billing.
