The SUN-8K-SG06LP1-EU-BM3 is Deye's 8 kW single-phase hybrid from the BM3 series: three MPP trackers, up to 16 kWp of modules and a 48V low-voltage battery.
Those three trackers with a 150-425 V window are the main reason to pick it over a two-tracker unit: on a roof with three pitches, or with shading that arrives at different times of day, each group of modules works on its own.
It supports AC coupling, so storage can be added to a PV system already running without touching its inverter. Time-of-use programming goes up to six charge and discharge windows, useful with multi-rate tariffs.
Dedicated generator input, up to 16 units in parallel on-grid and off-grid, class II surge protection on both DC and AC sides, DC disconnect and optional AFCI. IP65 housing with colour touch display.
