The Solis S6-EA3P5KAA-NV-ND-H is a 5kW three-phase AC coupled inverter: it never sees the solar modules. It sits on the AC side of the installation and does one job, charging and discharging the battery. That makes it the cleanest way to add storage to a PV system that has been working for years, leaving the existing string inverter and the rooftop wiring untouched.
It works with high voltage batteries from several lithium brands and handles up to 25A in charge and discharge. Six programmable time-of-use windows decide when to store and when to give energy back, so the unit can follow the household load curve or the electricity tariff; peak shaving keeps the draw from the grid under control where the supply contract is tight.
Two RS485 ports carry the dialogue with the battery and with the monitoring system, and open the door to remote firmware updates and VPP control. The inverter watches the battery in real time and includes a recovery routine that helps extend its life. Installation and commissioning belong to qualified personnel, in line with local grid connection rules.
