The SMone SM-SVG-15-0.4-4L-W is a static reactive power compensator (SVG, Static Var Generator) rated 15 kVAr for three-phase 400 V networks with neutral (3L+N+PE). Unlike stepped capacitor banks, it generates reactive current continuously through IGBT power electronics: it compensates both inductive and capacitive reactive power and corrects the imbalance between the phases, avoiding penalties on the electricity bill for a low power factor.
It is wall-mounted in the switchgear room, connected in parallel with the line downstream of the metering point, with the current read through external current transformers (secondary current not exceeding 5 A). The total response time of less than 10 ms makes it suitable for highly variable loads, while the integrated touch control panel and the RS485 Modbus interface allow configuration, parameter readout and integration into energy monitoring systems, including photovoltaic installations.
