The Fronius Symo Advanced 17.5-3-M is a three-phase string inverter rated 17.5 kW for grid-connected PV systems: it converts the energy of the modules into alternating current and feeds it into the building installation or the grid.
The interface protections and grid parameters are those required for connection in Italy to CEI 0-21 (low voltage) and CEI 0-16 (medium voltage). The inputs are 2 MPPT, with independent MPPT tracking: useful when the strings have different exposure or when part of the array is shaded for some hours of the day.
Fronius has been designing and building in Austria since 1992: its PV range is known for active cooling, modular boards and a widely used in-warranty replacement service.
