SolaX M3-40 three-phase energy meter with current transformers
The M3-40 is the three-phase meter that tells the SolaX inverter how much energy is flowing in and out of the connection point: it is the component that makes controlled self-consumption and export limitation possible.
It works with split-core 40 mA current transformers, so it is installed without cutting the power cables, and refreshes the measurement every 50 ms, which makes load regulation far more responsive. It detects phase sequence and CT direction by itself, so a mounting mistake does not force a rewiring, and the settings can be changed remotely through the SolaX Cloud app.
