GoodWe SEC1000 smart energy controller for multi-inverter plants
The SEC1000 is the controller that holds together a PV plant made of many inverters: it manages up to 60 of them and makes them behave as a single generator towards the grid.
In one IP65 enclosure GoodWe has put an EzLogger Pro, a GM3000 three-phase meter and a CT adapter module: the controller measures in real time what enters and leaves the point of connection and, if export exceeds the limit, reduces the active power of the inverters and acts on the power factor. That is the function it is bought for in most cases: export limiting or zero export on commercial and industrial plants.
It communicates over three RS485 ports and one Ethernet port, connects to the SEMS portal for monitoring and mounts on a wall, a bracket or a pole. The current transformers are not included and must be chosen for the current at the point of connection.

The current transformers are not included and must be chosen for the current at the point of connection. GoodWe has also moved the SEC1000 and SEC1000S to phase-out: they remain the right choice to extend or repair a plant that already uses them, but on a new plant it is worth checking with us which replacement is in the current range.
