Going from 12V to 24V is the most effective way to bring currents down: at the same power they halve, so cable cross-section halves with them and losses over long runs fall. It is the standard voltage on mid-size boats, well-equipped motorhomes and work vehicles.

What to look at is energy in Wh (voltage times Ah) and BMS continuous current, from 50A to 500A depending on the model.
