Can I directly replace my lead-acid or lithium batteries in a motorhome, boat or off-grid system? +
Yes, with a few things to consider. Naionics batteries operate across a wide voltage range (8V-16V), which offers two main advantages: high compatibility with already-installed chargers and accessories, without the BMS lockout issues typical of lithium. If you use the sodium battery as a starter battery, a DC-DC charger is needed to correctly recharge the service batteries.
How does it perform below zero compared to lead-acid? +
'+ Lead-acid loses 30-50% of its capacity at -20 degrees and stops working at -40. Lithium loses 30-40% at -20 degrees. Naionics retains about 95% of its capacity and remains fully operational at -40 degrees. This is the decisive advantage for anyone working in cold climates, arctic environments or industrial installations in low-temperature areas.
What does the warranty cover and what does it exclude? +
Full 5-year B2B warranty on manufacturing defects, material failures and workmanship faults. Excluded: physical damage from impacts or accidents, charging with incorrect current and/or voltage, exposure to temperatures below -50 degrees, and unauthorised modifications. Full technical documentation is available on request.
Which charger should I use? +
Naionics is compatible with standard automotive charging systems: alternators and OEM chargers. No modifications needed. High-frequency chargers or lithium-specific chargers are not required. For particular charging scenarios, contact our technical team before installation.
What are the delivery times for volume orders? +
