Inverter/chargers with a UPS function, combining inversion, charging and automatic transfer in a single unit: the PRIME INVERTER PI-PSC range from 1000W to 6000W for 12V and 24V systems, with a built-in charger from 25A to 90A.

The UPS function is what makes them useful indoors too: when the grid is present it passes through and the battery charges, when the grid fails the transfer happens within milliseconds and the loads never notice. Handy for fridges, boilers and workstations.

When sizing, check that the charge current suits the battery capacity and the rating of its BMS.
