Solar Cable 6 mm² Red H1Z2Z2-K 100 m Coil
Single-core H1Z2Z2-K 6 mm² solar cable in red, supplied on a 100 m coil. The 6 mm² cross-section is the de facto standard for wiring the direct current side of photovoltaic systems: connections between the modules, string extension leads and runs from the photovoltaic array to the inverter or the string combiner box. The red colour conventionally identifies the positive pole, to be paired with the black version for the negative.
The conductor is class 5 flexible stranded tinned copper to EN 60228, with insulation and sheath in a halogen-free cross-linked compound. The double-layer construction ensures resistance to UV rays, ozone and the weather and allows outdoor installation, on the roof, in conduit or fixed to the mounting structures. It complies with EN 50618 and IEC 62930, with a maximum operating voltage of 1.5 kV DC and an expected service life of 25 years.
