The Haier HBP Smart Cube module is a lithium iron phosphate storage battery of 8 kWh for PV systems with a hybrid inverter, in a low voltage configuration.
LiFePO4 chemistry contains no cobalt, copes well with temperature and offers a long cycle life: it is the standard of residential storage. The on-board BMS monitors voltage, current and temperature of every cell and talks to the inverter, which decides when to charge and when to discharge according to generation and consumption.
Haier Energy pairs its air conditioning and heat pump range with a complete PV line, designed to integrate generation, storage and the thermal loads of the home.
